The Best of All Possible Worlds
Meet Frank, a man who clings to magical thinking as a way of freeing himself from a world created by power-hungry bullies, even though his journey is filled with the suffering their tyranny has caused.
The Best of All Possible Worlds is based on Voltaire’s satirical classic, Candide, and was developed into a modern-day fantasy by Brooke Harris Wolff and Rick Carter. It’s filled with the teachings of the famous philosopher, Dr. Rutherford, and features his words of “wisdom,” such as:
Too Much of a Good Thing
Crave, consume, indulge and feed,
Desire, achieve, gorge and succeed.
If everything wanted could be fulfilled,
You’d find that the goal isn’t all it is billed.
So drink in the moment, but these words recall:
You have little, or nothing, if you have it all.
